I'm so excited you found me, and even further, clicked on the link to find out more about me! I'm a family photographer here in Dayton, Ohio. Also known as "Mom", I have the pleasure of tucking in two little boys each night and loving on three four legged friends everyday. And the icing on the cake; I get to share this life with my best friend I'm so lucky to call my husband.
I'm a creative, a writer, an advocate for mental well-being, and a patient mother trying to raise good humans to be kind to our earth and all things in it.
hello there!
I'm a lover of sleep, warm cozy blankets, an oversized hoodie, a good song blasting through my speakers alone in my car, a hot cup of coffee (before being microwaved 5 times), family dinners all together in the midst of chaos, and an overdue game night with friends.
You can find me 100% at peace and contentment in one of three places. A concert in the front row, on the beach at dawn, or more commonly a beautiful evening during golden hour watching my kids play outside. Sunlight glowing through their hair and outlining their heads ever so slightly. A warm breeze that hits your face just right to make you fully present in the moment. Birds and wind chimes collaborating to form the perfect melody. A good juicy burger sizzling on the grill and a cold, sweating, long necked beverage chilling within reach.
My first born was the whole reason I picked up a camera in the first place. To capture milestones, laughs, messes he made that I had to snap a picture of before cleaning up. To look back and remember "the days". And within all of that, I found a love for photography but most of all, being able to capture those same precious moments in your life you want to remember forever. My goal at our sessions is to have fun, play a few games, laugh a lot, all while freezing those timeless moments you may not even realize are happening. Genuine smiles, laughter, and all the things that make your family YOUR family.
I look forward to meeting you soon!
A photograph is timeless. It's a flashback to a single moment in time. And as life inevitably unfolds after that shutter is pressed, you can keep that one moment in time frozen still, and tuck it in your back pocket if you choose
